Travel to the island barangays of Caohagan and Pangan-an has been made more convenient with the opening of the newly rehabilitated Marigondon causeway.

Rep. Aileen Radaza and her mother, Mayor Paz Radaza, inaugurated the structure earlier this month. It is now open to the public.

The 70-meter Marigondon Causeway Rehabilitation Project in Barangay Marigondon cost P12 million.

The causeway gives passengers a place to hang out as they wait for motorized outrigger boats that would bring them to Lapu-Lapu City’s satellite islets.
