Work on the new Lapu-Lapu City College building was completed just in time for the opening of classes last June. The project, started during the term of former Representative Arturo “Boy” Radaza, was completed by Mayor Paz C. Radaza. The City Government allocated P14 million for the construction of the college.
Babag National High School will soon have an additional 16 classrooms. Work on the structures are ongoing at the school. The ongoing construction in Babag National High School is in line with Mayor Paz C. Radaza’s goal to reduce the number of classroom shortage in Lapu-Lapu City.
As part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR), GMR Megawide Cebu Airport Corporation donated in April four classrooms to Ibo Elementary School in Lapu-Lapu City.
Student athletes representing the Lapu-Lapu City Schools Division joined the Central Visayas Regional Athletics Association (CVIRAA) 2015 in Balamban, Cebu. The winners of the regional meet will compete in the Palarong Pambansa as Central Visayas representatives. The venue of the games was the Esperanza Binghay Memorial Sports Oval.
